If you have a car loan, a personal loan, or a Visa Credit Card account we are offering payment deferrals or reduced payment plans at no cost to you. We are not charging any fees or marking any loans under assistance as late on your credit report. Our goal is to help as many members as possible for the duration of this crisis. You can help us by providing information on how you are directly affected by the COVID-19 health crisis and supply us with a letter of hardship and notice of unemployment.
We are providing for up to 90 days for payment deferrals for those members that have a mortgage with us and are being directly impacted by the COVID-19 health crisis. Our goal is to provide you some relief with one of your largest monthly obligations so that you can meet the basic needs for you and your family.
PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM (PPP)
The Paycheck Protection Program is a loan designed to provide a direct incentive for small businesses to keep their workers on payroll. This program is administered by the US Small Business Administration and we encourage you to use their website as a trustworthy source of information. You can use the links below to find a participating lender. Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union is not currently a SBA lender and we recognize that you need a financial institution that is experienced and positioned to help you. If you have trouble finding a suitable partner using the SBA locator tool, please let us know. We can work within our network to find someone that can help you.
